Leslie West on Working with Slash and Billy Gibbons, Gaining a Prosthetic
Gibson Lifestyle - Features &bull Sep 14, 2011
Leslie West is a fighter. Earlier this year, the legendary Mountain axe-slinger was rushed to the hospital, his leg infected from complications with diabetes. While West was unconscious, his wife faced with a chilling decision: amputate West's leg and save his life, or risk death from a quickly spreading contagion. She chose the former.
